Overview

 

The Company has signed an MoU with Government of Odisha for setting up a 1,320 MW IPP. The plant is being set up using environment friendly advanced super critical technology. The proposed location is near village Brahmanbasta approximately 30 kms from Cuttack. The site is well connected with road and railways.

  • Project to be spread across 940 acres which also provides scope for future expansion. Land for the main plant already acquired
  • Entire water requirement of 40 MCM allotted from River Mahanadi, about 3 kms from site
  • Environment Clearance obtained from Ministry of Environment and Forest
  • Applied for obtaining Consent to Establish
  • Power Sale Agreement signed with GRIDCO
  • Power evacuation through nearest substation of OPTCL at Khuntuni
  • Nearest railway station is Radhakishorepur ~ 4km from site
  • Nearest National Highway NH42 ~ 1 km from site
  • Nearest port Paradip ~ 100 km from site and port Dhamra ~ 180 km from site
  • Construction power approval obtained from Government of Odisha
